Earlier this month I went to Aruba to photograph a wedding with my girls, Jess Vogelsang, and Suzannah Paul and man, it did not disappoint. What a beautiful island. I promise I’m not really all about the “selfie” game but I will totally own that I selfied the heck out of myself on this trip. :-P . I just couldn’t get enough of the blue water, white sand and gorgeous scenery. This post is purely of my personal photos so includes some cell phone snaps, along with my big girl camera, because I just can’t resist sharing. I will definitely be sharing a post of the wedding photos I took at some point because it was seriously the best thing ever! Stay tuned

Antigua, Mariah Fisher Photography
I'm still attempting to process my recent trip to Antigua. As I sit here now, two weeks from being there and falling back into my regular routines, it feels a little surreal that I was even there. To see that color of blue, in the sea and sky, and to see so many things that were so far out from my daily life was incredible. I soaked up the sandy white beaches and enjoyed nothing more than floating in the ocean, with the water in my ears and the wide open sky above me. And to swim with stingrays - I have never done anything like that. At first intimidating, once you get used to them swimming so close to you, it was just amazing. They are beautiful creatures. I was there to photograph a wedding alongside my dear friend Jess Vogelsang (more of that to come later), and feel so lucky to have experienced this island, the people living there, and so much natural beauty with her.
I'm not sure the photographs do the island justice, but below are some of my favorite personal images.
