Green Gables Wedding, Alexi and Steve

Alexi and Steve decided on an intimate wedding ceremony and reception, held at Green Gables in Jennerstown PA for there “I Do’s”.

Their ceremony on the outside terrace was filled with personal touches, including Alexi’s walk down the aisle to “Let it Go”, played by violin, and their unique unity ceremony of planting a tree together as opposed to lighting a candle. After their first kiss the couple shared private vows for only each other on the grounds of the venue. Green Gables has so many spots for photo opportunities and these two were so laid back and relaxed (& we got really lucky with the gorgeous colors of the trees and sky that day!) and everything about working with them both was easy. It was sincerely such a joy to be around them and feel the love the have for each other.

Below are some of my favorite images that share the story of Alexi & Steve’s day! xoxo

National Aviary Wedding, Kelsie & Jake

Kelsie & Jake celebrated the start of their lives together with a beautiful winter wedding and celebration at the National Aviary in Pittsburgh last December. These two opted to have a first look and finish most of their portraits in neighboring Allegheny Commons park, then kicked off the festivities with a bagpiper leading the way during both their processional and recessional. Guests were able to sip cocktails and savory bites while getting to experience all of the Aviary’s wonderful exhibits, including a visit with a friendly penguin named Sunshine and the cutest little owl you’ve ever seen! It truly was a night to remember and I am so so thankful to have been able to be there to capture all of these moments.

Please enjoy a some of my favorite images below! xoxo

Many thanks to my wonderful second photographer, Susie, and the vendors below for making this day so lovely!
