Katherine and Andrew were married at Heinz Chapel in front of family and friends on a gorgeous day last summer, with their reception held at the Carnegie Science Center’s PointView Hall after. Because their ceremony was earlier in the day we had a lot of time for portraits in between and we took full advantage of the time. Andrew proposed to Katherine during a picnic on the top of Mt Washington and we were able to visit the exact spot, along with the West End Overlook and Rachel Carson Bridge before heading over to get more great shots around the Science Center and Riverwalk.
It was sincerely so great to spend the day with these two and with the extra time built in they were able to just be together and relax, with each other and their bridal party without having to worry about rushing. And PointView Hall is always one of my favorite wedding locations because, not only is the reception space gorgeous, but you simply can’t beat the view from the balcony overlooking the city and rivers!
