Summer Wedding At Home, Mike and Susan

After being forced to postpone their 2020 wedding for the safety of their family and friends, Mike and Susan decided to host their wedding at their home. And while some of us binged Netflix throughout the pandemic and lockdowns (guilty!), these two decided to pour their hearts into gardening and grew all of their wedding flowers themselves ! They’ve now found their new passion and will be continuing to grow their love of flowers with their new venture, Beech Hills Blooms (give them a follow, their work is lovely)!

Mike and Susan’s wedding day was a beautiful late summer day, with guests watching them wed in their front yard, playing yard games and enjoying delicious barbecue after the ceremony. It was a day focused on family, friends and the genuine love between these two and I was so happy to be a part of it!

Many thanks to Aaron for helping me photograph this day as well as the following vendors:

Morning Glory Inn, Pittsburgh Wedding, Tracy and Michael

Tracy has the most amazing laugh; she laughs and everyone else around her laughs too. And Michael knows exactly how to make Tracy smile and laugh at every turn. So spending a day with them at the Morning Glory Inn in Pittsburgh’s Southside was easy.

Tracy and Michael are warm, kind and adventurous. They do things to challenge each other and their relationship. They love each other with a deep, meaningful love that is palpable when you’re around them. Their wedding was full of good food, good company and lots of laughter and dancing; and what more can you really wish for as you embark on a new chapter of your lives?

Thank you Tracy and Michael for inviting me in to document your love and this wonderful day for you. Below are some of my favorite images.

Special thanks to Rachel Rosetti for photographing this wedding alongside me!
